I dont know some of my fellows may feel amaz on this question, but if situation is like this then have to think like this, as is it possible to get parametric report from storeprocedure with out web server, there is no reproting server and simple html file exist on the desktop and just clicking on it, it will conect to the sql server and call the storeprocedure and after getting parameters values display reprot in html page. if some one has any conecp or done some work on it please help. sorry for this foolish idea....................sssssssssssss Eric

Why dont you look for some other reporting tool as in MS Access you can create report and if there are SQL server objects involved then you can create links to them from within the MS Access. To query database from a web page you can write pages in asp or asp.net, etc but it will need web server and you need to design your report as asp or asp.net page.

Hi: I have used excel as a reporting tool. I used worksheets as input and as ouput. I even used a hidden sheet as the connection data. You can name your output columns human readable for column headers. PhilPHuhn
