Peter,
The connectors are not supported with OM 2012. SC Orchestrator 2012 is Microsofts solution to replace the connectors. IPs are in development to replace all functionality provided by the connectors. Most are in beta or RC release now.
You can get the RC version of Orchestrator here http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/evalcenter/hh505660 and give it a try. Note that is is bundled with all the SC products but you can choose what you want to install.
Poke around here http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh546808.aspx for details on the IPs

Hi all,
could someone please provide me an official MS link (msdn / technet ...) where this is documented? I can't find the statement anywhere from Microsoft, that with SCOM 2012 you'll need to use Orchestrator and connectors aren't supported anymore... (I need this for a documentation, so that we can convince the executives that we have to buy the orchestrator too!) :)
Thanks and Regards,
Ville
Ville,
There is nothing that I'm aware of the specifically states what you are looking for but the connectors do specifically state they are for SCOM 2007 R2 and there is not, and will never be, SCOM 2012 connectors specifically written by Microsoft like the 2007 R2 ones.
We only suggest you use Orchestrator as this is Microsoft's solution to replace the existing 2007 R2 connectors when using SCOM 2012 but there are other 3rd party tools out there you could leverage as well. Also note that the HP OVO IP for Orchestrator only supports versions 9.x and above of HPOM (OVO).
