Hi Is anyone aware of a parameter control (either out of the box or third party) – that supports hierarchal data? Our report parameters are built of dimensions from our cube and we would like to achieve functionality similar to that of Excel when drilling into a dimension as a page level filter. For example – a dropdown that has a tree that expands – Year -> Quarter -> Month -> Day, with a check box to choose the parameter value or values. Thanks Dan

Hi Dan, Do the native drop down filters that are SPACE INDENTED to depict the hierarchy not suffice? :-) Do you have SharePoint access? The closest & the best I can think of would be a PerformancePoint filter. PPS provides the Multiselect Tree View Control that consumes hierarchies and presents them just the way you want. Also, considering the fact that PPS and SSRS blend extremely well, I strongly suggest you go this way. Let me know if this suits you and I can share more info on the same. HTH.
