I am developing a tablix in SSRS 2008 R2. I have developed many reports before with tablices, however, this time I do not see teh Merge option available when I try to merge two of the cells together into one. How do I enable this? Note, this screenshot is my tablix (not a table). And I do not have any groups in this table.Ryan D

No, all of the cells I tested do not allow Merge except for those on the top 2 rows. But I see nothing special for the top 2 rows, so I do not understand why this is happening!Ryan D

Hello Ryan, Cells can only be merged within each area of a data region: corner, column headers, group definition (or row headers), and body. We cannot merge cells that cross area boundaries. In your case, it seems that everything is fine. Could you please post the report(.rdl file) or the report define to us? Then, I will try to reproduce the scenario on my test environment.
