How to monitor a custom EXE?
This sounds so simple that i am embarrassed to ask it, but I must be having a bad day today as I cannot find a solution on the web.
We have a custom EXE which runs on selected servers and I want to monitor the EXE and create an alert when it stops running on that client.
Can someone give me a link to the document which explains the process for SCOM 2012? Thanks.

Google / Bing for process monitoring in SCOM. There have to be several of these MP's out there that people have created. Anything that worked for SCOM will work for 2012. Register at systemcentercentral and look for a custom mp there
that you can dl and test. Should be at least one, if not multiple.Regards, Blake Email: mengotto<at>hotmail.com Blog: http://discussitnow.wordpress.com/ If my response was helpful, please mark it as so, if it answered your question, then please also mark it accordingly. Thank you.
