How to show users all the reports?
Hi guys.
This is my first time dealing with Reporting Services.
I had setup the everything and I can view the reports in Report Manager URL....
But when I tried to view the reports in Web Service URL, I see the list of the directory listing.
Please advise.

Hi engloon,
As suggested by Uri you need to type in 'http://localhost/reports' or 'http://servername/reports' to see the reports deployed. If you use 'http://servername/reportserver' which is a webservice link, displays the directory format.MSBI Developer

If you are using version SSRS 2008 or above, then you would not see any virtual folders on IIS as SSRS handles http requests outside of IIS. To configure or to know the existing virtual paths given, please open reporting services configuration usually
located at Start-->All Program-->Microsoft Sql server 2008-->Configuration Tools.
After opening the configuration window, click on the report manager URL to view the existing virtual paths to report manager.
Hope this helps.

Hi BH.
Thanks for sharing the info, I was wondering why I could not found the report virtual directory in IIS 7.
Actually my issue is yet to be solved.
My Report Manager URL is http://servername:8080/ReportS_MSSQL2008/Pages/Folder.aspx
and the Web Services URL is http://servername:8080/ReportServer_MSSQL2008
I believe viewers are not allowed to view Report Manager but Web Services URL.
My problem is, when I open the Web Services URL, I always see the directory listing.
Please help.

In fact to view and run the reports, you have to open report manager not web services. Users should be rather using the report manager to view the reports. Once report manager is open, you can set permission on folders or reports. Please refer http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa337491.aspx for
more details on setting permissions.
Hope this helps.
