How to slipstream SP1?
Having endured numerous failures to setup SCE without error I decided to wait for SP1.
SCEmustbe better with SP1 surely? Oh dear, I've just read all of the SP1 posts...
However, SP1 is here and I would like to create a slipstreamed installation media.
I can't find any documentation that tells me how. Certainly unpackingand running the upgrade program /? doesn't tell me.
It is the year 2008, you are going to tell methis is possible aren't you?

I have brand new OEM SCE 2007 without SP1 from Intel being installed on a brand new server running Windows 2008 Standard 64 bit. Intel, of course, does not have new disks. The OEM version without SP1 refuses to install with a "...this product was blocked from installation because of known issues..." type message, even after I ran it in Server 2003 compatability mode. As far as I can find the OEM key is hardcoded into the Intel installation exe's, not in an .XML or .INI file.
How can I get MICROSOFT SCE 2007 OEM to install in MICROSOFT Server 08?
There must be a solution to this, other than to wait 6 months for Intel to get new disks.

Hi,So far, there is no way to install SCE OEM on Windows Server 2008 without SP1, I think you have to wait for the new disk wich integrated with SP1.--------------------Regards,Eric Zhang

Intel has released their Intel(R) System Management Software 3.0 with Microsoft(R) System Center Essentials 2007 SP1. It replaces the 2.0 version that has been shipping in the server boards and systems. If you would like to have your 2.0 version media replaced with 3.0 media please contact your Intel Sale rep or Disti Rep and I will work with them to get new media sent out to you.

The method provided by Microsoft to integrate sp1 or sp2 to vista dvd is reverse integration. But this method only updates the install.wim and only single edition. But the "Microsoft slip streamed" sp1 dvd have a spinstall folder and some 6.0.--- something folder and all editions are updated also the eula is updated. So I would like to know the method used by Microsoft to integrate sp1 and sp2.
