ILM 2007 and SQL 2008 R2
Hi,
I know there are a few posts like this here, but they all go back to 2009/2010.
So,
·
According to
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/982556
o
This hotfix rollup enables SQL Server 2008 R2 to be used as the database for a new installation of ILM Synchronization
However - how can I apply the above ILM hotfix before installing ILM 2007 so that I can install it into a SQL 2008 R2 environment?
Or, do I simply install ILM 2007 into SQL 2008 R2, and thereafter apply the above mentioned hotfix?
Thank you

S. Kwan,
This version of ILM should be a full version that allows installation against a SQL R2 instance. If you download this and discover it is not a full version .MSI but an update .MSP, contact PSS and they can get you the full version.
