A change to the release date hasn't been announced, but if it does get pushed expect to see it announced at the ILM2 Beta newsgroup on Connect first. CraigMartin Oxford Computer Group http://miisexperts.org/craigm

Rumors have definitely been circulating that the release is going to be delayed once again and by a significantly amount fo time. The sooner we get clarity on this, the better. We were told that this release would definitely not bebe lateagain, after the last delay.

That seems to be the fact... I've heard it from inside Microsoft and theexplanation isthat they've chosen to put all effort on putting Windows 7 on the market as soon as possible.

Whether or not ILM 2 is going to slip is one question but asserting that if it does is in any way related to a desire to ship Windows 7 is simply untrue. These are two completely separate development teams in two completely separate product groups. Microsoft is not taking development/test resources away from the ILM V2 team to work on getting Windows 7 out the door faster.Paul Adare CTO IdentIT Inc. ILM MVP

Since ILM 2 is heavily integrated with WF (Workflow Foundation), I'm bettingthe main reason for the 1yr delay is thescratch rewrite of WF that will be released in .NET 4.0. Apps written to utilize WF 3.5 or prior (ILM v2)have to be recoded to utilize the features in 4.0.I've heard that the delay to 1Q 2010 is a fact, but I haven't seen it posted anywhere yet with details. Google it and found this post.
