Hi I am new to this and I seem to be missing something here. I am trying to build a reference computer image. The reference PC is a Dell 630 laptop with a Windows 7 32bit build with Office 2007. No admin password and the firewall is off. Sysprep is @ C:\SysPrep. I have attached a USB drive for the image capture and it is not connected to a network. I have used SCCM 2007 sp2 to create an Image Capture CD. New task sequence media > Capture Media > CD/DVD - C:\software\RefImage32.iso > using the x86 image which is on the only DP. Not sure if additional drivers are needed here?? iso file succesfully created at 141,514 KB. When I run the CD, it runs TSMBootstrap.exe . . .No Image Capture Wizard appears. . . . I have been looking around for answers but cannot pinpoint the problem. hi, you'd be far better to capture images from virtual machines (vmware or hyperv), that way no drivers are captured in the original image, back to your problem however, are you logged in as a local administrator of the pc ? My step by step SCCM Guides I'm on Twitter > ncbrady

Sean The OP is using a standalone media disk to capture the image, so no, there is no need for the computer to be online and connected to the SMS server. This is completely different than sending a "capture" task sequence to the computer.Mayur

Hi, are you trying to capture the OS in an existing machine (I.E. build the machine manually and use SCCM task sequence to capture it)? if you are, it is easier to do it by using MDT, or imagex manually I have done the same thing but all in one "Build and Capture" task sequence in SCCM
