Hi, i am going to install share point on win server 2008. i want to know which bit version of Sql servr 2005, Visual studio 2005 and Ms office 2007 is required, is it 32 bit or 64bit?

Mario, Thanks a lot for your reply, i have windows server 2008 and share point 2007 which i am going to install. i was unable to install MS 0ff9ce 2007 on it due to 64bit OS.

If possible I would recommend using Window 2008 R2 x64 and MOSS 2007 x64. I would also recommend using SQL Server 2008 R2 x64. There are two many advantages of this recommendation: 1) You will benefit from the advantages of an x64 environment as Mario suggested. 2) You will leave the door open for an upgrade to SharePoint 2010.
