Hi, Apologies for the noob question. I'm new to SCCM 2007 and deployed a program using an msi. The deployment worked fine, however I notice the program is still being advertised for install in the task bar and within the control panel under Run Advertised Programs. Once a program has been installed, is there a way to stop the program from still being advertised? Also within the packaging options I noticed an expiry date - is this the date at which the actual advertisement expires or a date when the program will be uninstalled\stop working? On the program in the package choose suppress program notification (This will remove popups from the task bar). If you don't want the program to show in run advertised you need to make it mandatory assignment and uncheck allow users to run independently on assignment (This won't the advertisement in run advertised it will be installed when your deadline is meet). The expired date is when the advertisement will no longer be available for clients it was targeted too (it won't uninstall the program that was previously advertised). Justin | http://patchmypc.net
