hi  all 

i have a central site and 2 primary plus certain secondoris . I have also having one internet based management server which is also acting as software update point it is a site system (sccm 2012) .in central server when i look montioring tab for software update sync status iam able to to see  central server is syning from microsoft and primary from central and secondories from respective primary .but my internet based server is a site sytem linked to one of the primary sites its syncing from direct microsoft  ,when i was trouble shooting found no metadata was synced from MS becuase network ports were not opend . is this correct senario or do i need to set sync source my primary server whcih is IBCM server part of .if i sync from microsft after opening ports i hope my metadata wont be uniform , kindly answer

Yes, I know this is an old post, but Im trying to clean them up. Did you solve this problem, if so what was the solution?
