Hi, Firstly, please let us know which rule or monitor and management pack is related to this alert. If you are using IIS 7 MP, please double check the configurations referring to the MP guide: Windows Server Internet Information Services 7 Management Pack for System Center Operations Manager 2007 http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=9815 Meanwhile, please check the Event Log on the problematic server and the management server if there are any other related errors, please let us know the details. Hope this helps. Thanks. Nicholas Li TechNet Community Support

I have resolved this myself. One of the component of the website was pointing to an app pool which did not exist. Changed the app pool to the correct one and that resolved the issue and SCOM alerts stopped coming Thanks
