Is this a bug or a feature?
Hi, Setting up my flows, I discovered what might be a bug? This is the test - 1) Create user in Portal with DisplayName "John Doe" 2) Flow displayName "JOHN DOE" from some MA source to the FIM Portal; Sync Service will report success 3) Do confirming import and you'll get "Exported change not re-imported" So casing is ignored! The only way to fix this is by flowing a different (other than casing) value to the attribute and then flow the right cased value - or change the attribute in the portal to, i.e. John DoeX and the flow the uppercased value. If not a bug, it's is defintely a different behaviour than ILM 2007. Is this only me or is there a hotfix / fix outthere that I missed? I should be all up-to-date with Rollups and such. Definitely a bug ... there's aparently a case # on that one that the product group are working on now. Also get similar problems differentiating between spaces/empty strings/nulls ... see this threadBob Bradley, www.unifysolutions.net (FIMBob?)

Thanks; hope you're right with "someone working on it", cause its a big issue. I too reported it when I was at a customer in Iceland but did'nt get a fix for now. Hopefully this will be out soon. Thanks.Regards, Soren Granfeldt http://granfeldt.blogspot.com
