HI all, Environment: - MOSS 2007 (Sp1) Issue:- Related to Differential Back up Findings: - within the spbackup log we get the warnings which would read as below “The previous full SQL backup for the database SPProd_Cfg was performed by another backup tool and may not be restored correctly” What is causing the issue? When the full backup is taken this message is not displayed, it only happens during the weekdays which is during the Differential backups. Satyam

This happens if you do a full backup From Central Administration, and later if you backup the SharePoint SQL Database directly using SQL Management Studio or any other DB backup application. Than later when you go again to Central Administration and try to take a differential backup a warning will be logged in SPBackup log. The one you are getting as of now. Would suggest you to check if any schedule backup have been scheduled to take the SharePoint DB backup or you/someone is taking a manual SQL DB backup after a full backup in Central Administration.
