Hello all, We have SCCM running, but I need to fix two or three issues and I'm guessing that using unattended.xml can solve my problem. OSD of Windows 7 First, I want to change the Display to use the recommended resolution by itself ? Second, I want to activate Windows 7 by itself we have MAK ? Third, how can I automatically join the computer to our domain ? I've read that we can modify those settings with the answer file using WAIK, but I miss some information to do so. I also read that I can create an unattend.xml, package it, publish it to our DP, and the create a Task Sequence for the unattend.xml. Does anyone have already created an unattend.xml to change the display, joining a domain and activate Windows by itself. Best regards, Stephane

You do not need to use Unattended.XML for any of that.. 1. Create a standard deploy existing image TS from the wizard. 2. Create a driver package with the display driver, and add it as an Apply Driver Package, in the WinPE part of the Task Sequence. (just before "Setup windows and config.mgr for example) The computer will then set the recommended resolution automatically. 3. Add the MAK key to your "Apply Windows step" and in the end of your Task Sequence, add a "run command line" step cscript.exe slmgr.vbs /ato 4. Hello Michael, Thanks for your reply, now here is the result...from steps that I take 1. I did not create another Task Sequence, I,ve only edit the one that I have right now. 2. I did inject new driver from ATI into our Driver Package and refresh the package as well (no result from now the display configuration still in default of 1028x764) 3. That I succeeded thank you for the slmgr.vbs 4.I already have this in formation in Apply Networ Settings, but this time I remove the OU I give you more information for point 2 and 4 after my next deployment test lab Best regardsStephane

Hello all, I hope you are well ! From my side i'm still having problems with number 2 and 4 from my last post. So, I am oing to the customer site tomorrow and from my last test I did not succeded on point 2 and 4 Point 2 : What i've seen at the end of deployment is that on the login screen the resolution is at his bes, I mean the recommended resolution. The issue occurs when I log on this computer wich is not part of our domain (Workgroup), we can see that the resolution is changing by itself and when the desktop appear the resolution is at 1024x768. Point 4 : I will create another OU cause I used to Browse to the Computer (caontainer) to put our newly PC and I will also double check that in Apply Network Settings that the Account look like \domainame\sccmuser, what I can remember is that in the field Account i've seen only the username... I did put at the end the Task Sequence order that we creat maybe it can help...
