Hi All We are trying to uninstall MOSS 2007 from our server but while progressing we are facing errors and challenges .Steps Followed were :1 Stopped all the services using Central Admin2 Deleted the Web application 3 Remove Share point from IIS4 Tryied running the Remove wizard from control pannel but it is asking for a ReportViewer.msi file which is not present.5 The process stops with errors6 Then we tried running the setup for MOSS but that is also not running and stopping in the mid with errors.Error Occured(event Vwr) The description for Event ID ( 5000 ) in Source ( Microsoft Office 12 ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. You may be able to use the /AUXSOURCE= flag to retrieve this description; see Help and Support for details. What are you ultimately trying to accomplish? If you really want to get rid of MOSS, then your best bet is to just wipe the server. Removing all of the services and dependencies from a complicated system is never easy. HiWe went and removed all the services associated with the MOSS and did a reinstallation and now it is working fine thanksNikhil
