Hello all, I have a matrix report that takes several records in a dataset and merges them to come up with one matrix column. The record set looks like the following: Number | Description | Regulation | Parameter | Result | High Value | Mean | Unit 1 | one | Law 1 | Stuff | 1 | 5 | 3 | m\g 1 | one | Law 1 | Stuff 2 | 3 | 7 | 2 | km\h 2 | two | Law 1 | Stuff | 1 | 5 | 3 | m\g 3 | three | Law 1 | Other | 3 | 7 | 2 | km\h My matrix is set up to display the data like: |Number | |Description | |Regulation | Parameter | Result | High Value | Mean | Unit| I have seen the tutorial at http://blogs.msdn.com/b/chrishays/archive/2004/07/23/horizontaltables.aspx, but I simply can't get it to work. I was wondering if anyone could give me some pointers on how to force the matrix to wrap on to the same page.

Hi, As you posted, we can use a matrix to display grouped data and summary information. We can also group data by multiple fields or expressions in row and column groups. However, since the tutorial you mentioned was written in 2004, it might only apply to Reporting Services 2000 or 2005. In order to create a basic Matrix report in Reporting Services 2008, I would suggest you refer to the tutorial at http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc627441(v=SQL.100).aspx If you still cannot get it to work, please let me know and also post the expected result based on the sample record set.
