Management Point 0Bytes and Critical

Hi All

Using System Center 2012 R2 and have deployed the Management Point role to two different Windows Server 2012 R2 servers. Now within the SCCM Console under Site Status my Management Point role shows as Critical and the Total Size shows 0 Bytes - when I go to Show Messages and select a time before the role was installed, no error messages appear.

No errors appear for any components under Component Status.

Not sure where I can go from here

Thanks

Have you checked the actual MP log files (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh427342.aspx#BKMK_MPLog ) MPControl.log specifically?

How about sitecomp.log since it is what is responsible for doing component availability and disk space checks?

In addition to what Jason posted already, check the MPSetup.log and mpMSI.log for errors.  Those are the logs that detail the actual installation of the management point.

Hi Guys

Update on my troubleshooting - it seems a combination of opening port 80 on the MP and giving the MP Computer Local Administrative rights to the Site Server has solved the issue
