Manually remove Roles from Site Systems
I am seeing an issue which was caused by previous SCCM Administrator... The organization had a SMS 2003 site which was migrated to SCCM 2007, using the same site code... However, the previous person shutdown that server without removing the SCCM Roles from the active Site System Servers (SQL and WSUS). He then built a new server and ceated a new Site Code and then assigned the SCCM Roles for the new Site Code to the previously assigned Site System servers. Due to previous admin not removing all the Roles from the Site Systems via the SCCM Console, the current SCCM Server receives numerous Warnings and Error messages about the old Site Name being present. How do I clean up this mess? Larry W. Wilks

Wilks If the previously shutdown site was not line,Roles will fail to install and nothing happens.your issue could be with packages trying to remove. also ensure to remove the objects from system management container if any left-out. try this http://eskonr.com/2009/11/report-that-gives-bad-distribution-points/Please click on "vote as Helpful" if you feel this post helpful to you.
