Quick question that I can't seem to find an answer to. Within the "Capture windows settings" task will the "migrate Computer name" keep the same name as the machine that is being built? And how do you go about using that. Thanks!

If you are using this setting the Tasksequence variable OSDComputerName will be set to the NetBois name. During the OSD tasksequence the sysprep.inf/unattend.xml will be updated with the info stored in OSDComputreName to set the computername, used during the minisetup. If the variable is not set by the “Migrate computer name” it will be set to "_SMSTSMachineName" which is the name of the computer object in the ConfigMgr database. So if a machine is already in use... and I don't set that flag for the task in the task sequence... then the %OSDComputerName% will be set to the %_SMSTSMachineName%... which should be the same as what the Netbios name was for the machine? So what your telling me is that if a Machine is joined to the domain, integrated with SCCM.... and I rebuilt it without the Migrate computer name setting... that it will still retain its old computer name? I'd love to reply to you... but honestly I have no idea what you just said... When I rebuild my computers, yes they retain there computer name... I also have a variable that can be set at the beginning of the build process to change the name if need be.
