Hello In my environment ,There are three forest ,A1 domain ,A2 domain ,A3 domain. Previously used miis2003 A1 domain to A2 domain sync account and password (pcns) Now add a fim2010, from A1 domain to A3 domain sync account and password (pcns) ,MIIS2003 and fim2010 all installed in the A1 domain , This environment will have a conflict? thanks

Hi, From my perspective you will run in conflicts. You have only one SPN in your ad-environment for password sync purposes. This seems to be currently the MIIS 2003. I would rather prefer to upgrade the current MIIS 2003 to FIM 2010 and extend the password sync for the new domain. Regards, Mortiz

You can configure as many PCNS targets as you want and each one you have to specify the target (and SPN) for. I don't expect the OP will have any issues. Just keep in mind if you're doing any sync back in to A1 if you've got MIIS and FIM writing back to the same users there and they aren't writing the same thing they're going to keep overwriting each other.My Book - Active Directory, 4th Edition My Blog - www.briandesmond.com
