Monitoring SSD Disks
Hi all,
is it possible to monitor the state of a SSD disk using SCOM?
Thanks,

Hi,
Perhaps the SSD vendor has a management pack? Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question. This can be beneficial to other community members reading the thread.

Also, how would the machine know it is an SSD disk? normally windows is just seeing a disk (which happens to react faster :-)) and it monitors it through the windows base os MP as any other disk. But that monitoring the disk as windows is seeing it.Bob Cornelissen - BICTT (My Blog about SCOM) - MVP 2012 and Microsoft Community Contributor 2011 Recipient

Thanks for the response. I will check with the SSD vendor if they will write SSD information to the event log.
