Hello,
If you login with your crawl account can you see results from the intranet zone?
Hi,
i juste tested and there is no results. Any idea ?
thanks
Excuse me for my precedent answer, it was wrong.
Actually, i get all results when using the crawler account (i don't know how, i think i get results after a full crawl).
For your second question, i let only the default zone URL(win auth) in the content source because i keep getting an access denied in the crawl log with the intranet zone URL (ADFS auth).
Hi,
I configured 02 zones for the same web applications:
1) Default: with Windows integrated authentication
2) Intranet: With ADFS authentication and is the only zone published.
The users connect only to the intranet zone and i configured the search to crawl the default zone.
The problem is that i don't get any search result when i am connected in the intranet zone (but i get results when i am connected to the default zone).
Can anyone help to figure out a solution ?
thanks
PS. I prefer to avoid using a mixed authentication as described HERE
This is an extended site correct?
Yes exactly, it's a web application extended to 02 zones(and so IIS sites):
1) Default zone: configured with windows auth and an internal URL, used only for crawling (the URL in the content source)
2) Intranet: configured with ADFS (trusted) authentication and a public URL, accessed by users
There is what happen:
1) when i connect into the default zone as a site collection admin, i get search results
2) when i connect into the intranet zone with the crawler account, i get search results
3) when i connect into the intranet zone as a site collection admin, i don't get any results
can you help me?
thanks
