I have installed Reporting Services versions, 2005,2008,2008-R2 and DENALI on a Windows 2008 R2 Server. I want to connect to my SQL Server 2008 Reporting Services. Hi r.muralidhar, The WMI namespace has been changed between SQL 2005, SQL 2008 and SQL 2008 R2 releases. That is the reason you are having this problem such as: connecting to 2005 instance from SSMS 2008.
