No report servers were found (2008)
I have installed Reporting Services versions, 2005,2008,2008-R2 and DENALI on a Windows 2008 R2 Server. I want to connect to my SQL Server 2008 Reporting Services. SQL 2005 is on SP4 and 2008 is on SP2 I have already tried Method2 of http://support.microsoft.com/kb/960374 I have tired connecting through management studio and it does not work either Only 2008 and 2008-R2 Reporting Services are running all others are stopped I get the following message --------------------------- Reporting Services Configuration Manager (2008-R2) --------------------------- No report servers were found. --------------------------- OK --------------------------- --------------------------- Reporting Services Configuration Manager (2008) --------------------------- No report servers were found. Hi r.muralidhar, The WMI namespace has been changed between SQL 2005, SQL 2008 and SQL 2008 R2 releases. That is the reason you are having this problem such as: connecting to 2005 instance from SSMS 2008.
