Not showing Windows 7 in Collections
Hi, I am new to SCCM
I install 2 machines
1 machine= Win 2003 ,domain controller +SCCM+SQL server Its working fine
IP: 192.168.84.3
mask=255.255.255.0
gateway= 192.168.84.3
DNS=192.168.84.3
============================
2nd Machine windows 7=
IP: 192.168.84.4
mask=255.255.255.0
gateway= 192.168.84.3
DNS=192.168.84.3
I successfully joined the domain . its working perfect.
=================
now when i start SCCM, I set client agents , boundaries, and discovery methods. after this i go to Colletions and update it, It only show Window server machine where i installed SCCM, but not Windows 7,
whats the problem, Its basic discovery methed, but its not shown in All System collection .??
any guide ??Ismailhaider

Are you sure,you have given the correct LDAP path in discovery method and computers are member of that OU?
Try the Run discovery As soon As possible and monitor the ADSYSDIS.log in ur site server logs for further information. And yes as Kent said, update the collection membership and do a Refresh (F5).

I found a solution, actually I forget to check on DNS in SCCM console.I have other problem for software distribution. I am opening a new thread.ThanksIsmailhaider
