SharePoint 2013

I have two note board web parts on a site one on the home page of the site and one on a subsequent page on the site.  The note board on the home page seems to be working but the note board on the other page will let me post a note but as soon as the page is refreshed the note disappears.  

Can anyone help with this issue?

The comments in Note board are stored in SQL server database. I'd recommend you firstly check if the comments you post were sucessfully stored in database. You can open SQL server > Databases > Social DB > Tables > dbo.SocialComments.

It mentioned Distributed Cache, and you would like to check it in your organization. Please try to restart Distributed Cache service and modify the memory. Here is the reference:
