Notifi Emails
We have configured SQL Alerts to be sent to SQL Team, In the Criteria , we have selected 'Raised by any instance of Specific Class' and we have selected SQL 2000 DB and DB Engine ,SQL 2005 DB and DB Engine, SQL 2008 DB Engine and DB Engine
This causes backup failure events to go as email to DB team, Howvere they want the backup alerts to go to Backup team. Hence i created another Subscription for that.
Is there any way i can stop the backup failure alerts to go to DBA team

Not with your current selection. The alert is raised by a selected class. As far as I know there is no "exclude" option.Regards,

There's no way you can make an exclusion in the subscription.
The only way I see is that you make the selection by selecting the different alerts of the classes via a subscription and us a notification channel which runs a powershell script to make the distinction between Backup errors and others.
You could use my script published here http://scug.be/blogs/dieter/archive/2011/05/11/scom-dump-alerts-to-text-file-and-mail.aspx and make
a selection in the event description and search for the word "backup".
If you need more assistance when you want to go down this route please do not hesitate to ask. It's doing common things uncommonly well that brings succes.

Any way we can know whether or not the Email Notification was sent to the particular user.

At the end of the script a event is logged in the eventid when the mail was sent.
Or you can send it in CC to another box.
If you need any assistance in adapting the script to your needs please do not hesitate to post your requirements here and I'll modify it. Not a lot of work as the framework stays the same. It's doing common things uncommonly well that brings succes.

Can you be more precize in what you try to achieve?
You can make a subscription based on the alerts raised in SCOM and the script will only be launched with data of these alerts.
