Notification
How to verify whether a notification for an alert is forwarded to the email address.
I need to know if the Emails are being generated and delivered to the Service desk.

1. Check the target mailbox
2. Check the logs on the mail server
As far as I know, there is no methods to check this on OpsMgr side...http://OpsMgr.ru/

Yeah, the only other way is having the emails sent to your mailbox as well so you can keep an eye on it. But thats temporary of course.. :-) Otherwise you need to look at destination side of things.Bob Cornelissen - BICTT (My BICTT Blog)

Is there no way to check which alert generate Emai or maybe which Monitor generate Email or which Rule generate email notification. Does every Monitor generating and alerts automatically generated an email as well.

That is in your subscription definition. SO if your subscription is to send all critical alerts through the email... than all of the critical ones are sent through the email.
A rule or monitor can generate an alert.
And the subscription (with a filter) picks up the alerts that you filtered and send them through the notification channel you selected (the email in this case). So it is not the case that the rule or monitor itself will send emails.Bob Cornelissen - BICTT (My BICTT Blog)
