Number format in Report Builder
Hi,
I have a question about Report Builder 3.0
My SSRS instance is setup on Windows 2008 Server in english version.
Some of my users have french regional settings, but when they launch a report on their computer they get numbers in the english format.
For instance I get 1,000.25 for one thousand point twenty-five instead of 1000,25
Is there a special settings so that the user regional settings are taken into account?
Thanks
Pete

I do know this possibility but it implies a change on each field. Is there a way to set this for the whole report?
Moreover it is said in MS documentation that "By default, numbers are formatted to reflect the cultural settings on the client computer" but it's not the case.
One more question, when I check both "use regional formating" and "thousand separator", numbers are displayed with a comma separator instead of a space. Is it "normal"?

Hi Pete,

Naveen.P is right. In addition, you can explicitly specify the language property to:
=User!Language
Is there a way to set this for the whole report?
You can press Ctrl+A to select all report items and then changes their properties.

Yes, it's normal. Actually, the option is using 1000 separator of current regional settings here. Please make sure current regional setting is French (Canada), French
(France), French (Luxembourg), or French (Monaco). In Text Box Properties window, Number tab, you can find current regional settings at the bottom of the window.
If there is anything unclear, please feel free to ask.

There's still a problem. In the preview I get what I want for instance 12 500,00 but when I run the report I get 12,500.00

I change the properties for my all report using regional settings and it works.
