Obiee provisioning.
Hi everyone,
Do you have some experience working with oracle obiee (Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition)?, I want to provision obiee users with FIM but i dont know how to do it, anyone know if there is a web service o something like that?

I never worked on that, but for oracle e-business suite I'm considering different options in current project I have:
- using Oracle Management Agent : you can provision directly to the users table, you need to check the structure of the table with correct values to insert if applicable
- using custom management agent : you can use the API provided by oracle product to add/delete users
- using txt or csv management agent : check if OBIEE have the functionality to import users from csv files for example, and if you can schedule and automate that task.
I prefer the second option over the first, because you don't know what kind of default permissions and access rights the user should have and whether these data will be provisioned automatically if you accessed the user table directly.
option 3 would be the easiest solution if applicable.
this is just a suggestion in theory of what can be done, I'm still in the planning phase

I'm agree with you, the best option is with an API of Oracle but I dont find anithing like that. I know there is a Web Service but i dont find any method to provision new users. Anyone have some experience with it?

You may consider the Oracle ERP MA, which will be introduced with FIM 2010 R2.
