Hi, 1) Did you install SharePoint for the first time and started getting this error immediately? 2) If its an old installation, when did you start getting this problem? Do you reollect making any changes to Server Settings/Configuration? 3) What is your enviornment? - SharePoint Version and Edition? Single Server install or Farm Based Setup? 4) What is the Service Pack you have? Thanks & Regards, Kamlesh | Blog | Twitter | Posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights.

Hi EL SHIMY, What is your server role? How many servers have the query role? Did the SharePoint search work? If you configured office SharePoint search and it is not working and also get the error of 6482. You can try the following steps: · Granted Network Service "Full Control" permissions to the root of the drive on which the index(es) live[s]. · Stop the office SharePoint search service on query and index server. · Restart O search. · Make sure the URLs in AAM are correct. For more information about Configure the Office SharePoint Server Search service (Office SharePoint Server), please refer to the following article: Configure the Office SharePoint Server Search service (Office SharePoint Server) http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc262700(office.12).aspx Hope this is helpful to you.
