One Drive Configuration

Hi All,

Looking for feedback on how to configure One Drive when one is implementing SharePoint 2013 enterprise in an on premise environment. The One Drive in this case needs to point to in-house server and not to cloud. Also how does one provision space for individual users in such a scenario.

Just setup User Profiles with MySites and you are done.  Personal MySites and OneDrive for Business are the same thing.  The confusion tends to come in because not all the OneDrive for Business Apps will work with an On-Premises installation.  Some are specifically written to only work with Office 365.  That has nothing to do with how OneDrive is provisioned on-premises.  Its a limitation of the app.  Whatever Quota space you allow for personal MySites that will be the amount of space available to each user.
