Outlook 2010 addin doesn't work
Hello guys,
I've following problem: I've created an environement with FIM2010, Exchange 2010 and a client with window7+office2010.
Now, everything works when you do it in the portal, joining a group, etc. But I've installed the add in for outlook and it doesn't work. When I join a group via outlook the owner of the group never receives an email, or request in the portal...
When I check the mailbox of my service account ( sa-fim@FIM.local ) the different mails appears but it looks like they where never processed or anything !? :s
When creating the sa-fim account mailbox in exchange 2010, which option should you chose ? Because you get following options:
- user mailbox
- room mailbox
- equipment mailbox
- linked mailbox

Officially Outlook 2010 is not supported. It's also not listed at:
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff512684(WS.10).aspx
However: Outlook 2010 x86 probably will work. Outlook 2010 x64 will not work. At least that's what has been told at FIM RTM. Not sure if any of the updates changed anything for this.
As for your FIM MA account, a regular user mailbox should be ok.http://setspn.blogspot.com

Be aware also that if your clients have FIM 2010 installed with Office 2007 prior to upgrading to Office 2010, your addin should still work. Caveat to that is we are installing the x86 version here so what Thomas has said still applies.
