PDF Reports from Sql Server 2005
Hello everyone,
We have a requirement to create PDF reports (predefined Queries) and email it to business users.
This activity has to happend 5th of every month.
I was thinking of a win service to wakeup and create these reports.
Question is:Which is the best option
1) Have a win service, scheduled to run and create reports from sql server
2) Have RDL defined for each report and scheduled the report run from SSRS.
Which one will be ideal or is there any other option available and how to approach this requirement?
Please provide any links or snippets if you have.
Thanks much in advance.

Hi kotteesh,
In Reporting Services, we can create a subscription to deliver a report at a specific time, and it includes an e-mail delivery extension so that we can distribute reports through e-mail. When we create a subscription and delivery by E-mail, Reporting Services
provides the PDF and other(XML, CSV, Excel and so on) rendering format for selection.

If you have any question, please feel free to ask.
Thanks,
