The problem: user's are under certain circumstances getting prompted for credentials when accessing SharePoint pages. Specifically, they get prompted if they do the following: are using IE7 go to Intranet SharePoint Site A -- note no prompting/login required open additional tabs and accesss Internet sites in different zones go back to the Intranet SharePoint site tab and click on a link, then they will get prompted for logon credentials, which are never accepted and the user just continually gets prompted. The SharePoint server is running Windows Server 2008, the desktop is running Windows XP SP3, and the IE Explorer version again is 7x. Any thoughts or theories indeed welcome, thanks.
