Power Management Client
HI
have just finished upgrading to R3, i installed the hotfix before the install and all the packages etc were created ok, i am still not getting the power management client showing in the console. any ideas ?

I've never seen that problem before !!! Have your refreshed the ConfigMgr console ? Have you checked the ConfigMgr2007R3.log under %temp% ? What's the .Net version installed on the server ?Bechir Gharbi | http://myitforum.com/cs2/blogs/bgharbi/default.aspx

The Power Management information comes as part of the hardware inventory process. Check the sms_def.mof file and see if the power management classes are created. Also run a hardware inventory scan on the client and see if the information are being gathered.Kent Agerlund | http://scug.dk/ | The Danish community for System Center products

i am still not getting the power management client showing in the console. any ideas ?
Are you talking about the client agent itself that can be found under Site settings -> client agent? Were you using a console that was upgraded to R3, too? Did you close and re-open it? Does that happen on the siteserver's console too?
