Powerview Multiple Measures
If I have two measures lets say Account Receivable Balances and Sales Performance, and various dimensions like Customer, Year etc..
Can i have these two measures shown in a single powerview report with say a 'Customer' slicer ? if i select a customer the graph will show me the customers' AR balances over time as well as the sales over time ?
the above two will be coming from two data sources viz AR Data and Sales data. what is the method of linking these two data sets into a single powerview dashboard ?

Hi Sanjay,
If there is a relationship between the dimension tables in the underlying BI Semantic Model (e.g. created in PowerPivot for Excel), then Power View will automatically link multiple visualizations/slicers based on those relationships in the model.

Hi Robert,
Thank for your reply. I shall try this out.
If it does not work as expected, is it possible for me to send you an excel file ? if yes, let me know the email id where i can send you the file.
Kind Regards
Sanjay

Hi Robert,
Yes, I checked it out, and it works as expected.
the mistake i was making was selecting the dimensions from the fact table, rather than from the dimension table.
However since the fact and dimension is linked, should it not work both ways ? i.e. if I select the dimension from the fact table, it should still work as expected.
