Problem With Broken Inheritance Reports
Based on user requests I installed the SharePoint Administration Toolkit v4. I am testing the Broken Inheritance Reports Jobs tool onour test server/sites before deploying to prod.
We run Windows SharePoint Services 2007 (WSS V3) with SP3. It runs on Windows Server 2003 Enterprise x64 SP2.
I installed the toolkit and deployed the solution per Technet. On our test server and in production we use host headers to access the sites. We deploy one web app with one site collection for each department site. Each web app has its own database. In test
I have only 5 sites deployed. In prod there are 14.
Here is my issue. After installing the solution/feature I set up a job to run on each of the five sites in test. All five sites created the report files as expected, however only one site actually had any data in the files. The other files only had
the XML open and close tags and nothing else.
I ran through everything I could think of to look for differences between the sites. There were a few differences because some of the sites have been used as sand boxes, but for the most part there were no differences that would attribute to the issue. The
biggest difference is that the site which was working had the "Access Checker" web part feature activated. To test if this was the reason I enabled it on the other four sites. I thought this resolved it because the firts of the other four sites started
reporting, but not the other three. I now have two sites which produce reports and three which do not.
I turned up diagnostic logging and ran new reports and found some issues, but I am uncertain if they are related or not.

Hi SGould,
Thank you for your question.
I am trying to involve someone familiar with this topic to further look at this issue.
Thanks,

Hi,
It is very difficult to tell if those messages in the ULS log are related since there are only two entries and we do not have start time of when you started the report.
There is a blog about the Admin toolkit v4 that should help:

Thank you for your reply. I looked at Steve Chen's blog. I had some hope that
unlockfgpreport might help, but it didn't. I suspect I am going to have to open a support case for this.
