Problem to insert Windows Updates in task sequence
Hi
I have SCCM 2007 SP2 R3 on Windows 2008 R2.
I create a new task sequence (OSD, Task sequence, Right clic New, Task sequence, Install existing image, .....) i deploy this image, no problem. (OS, SCCM Client, Join domain and all software associate collection)
I try to add a new update (Windows Update) in a task sequence:
1- I create a temporary Microsoft Deployment Task sequence.
2- Go to my task sequence, (after Setup Windows and ConfigMgr) , "Add", "MDT", "Use Toolkit Package" (i choose MDT package create with Microsoft Deployment task)
3- After "Use Toolkit Package", "Add", "MDT" "Install Updates Offlines" (i choose a package create with Softwares Updates)
1- I create a new "deployment package" (patch Windows7) in "Software update".
2- In a task sequence, "Add", "MDT" (i integre MDT with SCCM) , "Install Updates Offline", the task sequence failed.
(I test a task sequence before add "Use Toolkit Package" and "Install Updates Offlines" NO PROBLEM ), I start a new machine, F12, i choose a task sequence, a task "Use Toolkit Package" pass but a task "Install Updates Offlines" FAIL with error (smsts.log):
Failed to run the action: Install Updates Offline.
Unknown error (Error: 000001A8; Source: Unknown)
Where is my problem?
Thanks

Install Updates Offline is meant to be used in the WinPE portion of the TS:

Hi
I try Add->General->Install Software Updates, is functional but i have another problem.
I create a "update list", "Deployment Template" and " package" (my package appear on "distribution point"). In a "task sequence" ,Add->General->Install Software Updates. I start a computer test but the computer jam on "Download Updates" (1 on 60)?
I create another test, a create a package in folder with "Everyone", "Full Control" and all updates install correctly ?????? (60 on 60) (A same distribution point and choose same update on 2 tests) and updates appears in "control Panel" "View Updates".
Where is my problem?
Thanks
