Problems install ConfigMgr Dashboards
I am trying install the ConfigMgr Dashboards on a Windows Server 2008 SP2 R2 server. I have installed all prerequisites according to the ConfigMgr Dashboard User Guide and am running Sharepoint Services 3.0 SP2 on this box. It is connecting to the SCCM database on another Windows Server 2008 SP2 R2 server running SQL Server 2008 R2. I have started the installation using the recommended approach according the the user guide by running as administrator, kicking off msiexec and logging to a file. I have double checked to make sure all features were installed and set both my application pool identity and site owner login to the same account. This account is a domain administrator and I've set this account as DBO on the SCCM database. I've also confirmed that DCOM permissions are correct on the Dashboard server. I've also tried changing the port for the URL and nothing seems to work. I've verified that it does create a ConfigMgrDashboardSessionDB database on the SCCM server but that's about it. I've read at least a dozen different threads on this and all of them either say, it's the IIS metabase compatibility component missing, DCOM permissions, the user not being a DBO on the database or the port needs to be changed. I've tried everything I can think of at this point. Here is a link to the setup log because I couldn't fit the entire thing in this thread.
