Question on SSIS and Pronto ODBC driver
Hi Wondering if anyone has had any experience extracting data from a Pronto DB (AIX, C-ISAM evironment) to a SQL Server 2008 DB (64-Bit) using BI Development Studio (32-Bit). I'm able to connect to the Pronto data source, create and preview a query but keep getting the following error preventing me from running the dataflow task Error in Data Flow Task (Pronto Source[]): The output column <column> does not have a mathcing source column in the schema.SSIS then asks if I want the component to fix these errors automatically, which I say yes. But still the error persists.Any one have any ideas? George

Can you share the query you're using in the ADO.Net source adapter? This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights.

Does the Pronto ODBC driver converts the Big Endianess of AIX PPC architect versus the X86 Little Endianess?

Why is this marked as answered? I have the same issue trying to extract data from Pronto (either C-ISAM or Informix) and get the same problem. I get the error mentioned previously when typing the SQL directly, and if I try selecting a table I get: "Object reference not set to an instance of an object. (Microsoft.DataWarehouse)". Only workaround I know at the minute is to create linked tables in Access (it works through there) and then create a Access source in SSIS... If anyone managed to get Pronto tables directly into SSIS please let us know. The current error message is misleading.
