R2/Outlook 2010 - no approval buttons appearing?
I'm installing the FIM 2010 R2 Add-in for Outlook 2010, but when users receive emails requesting approvals, they do not have the buttons to approve or decline the request. The group management options appear, but no check/cross buttons, either in the preview pain or the reading pane. Having trawled through previous notes that have appeared on Technet, I have verified that the email address specified in the Add-in installation is the same as the one that was configured for the FIM Service and that which appears in the GAL (SV-FIM_Service@company.com). I have even tried changing the case to match but it doesn't seem to make any difference. The only thing I can think that may be causing an issue is that we have the Lync 2010 client installed, which also has a plug in for Outlook that seems to modify the way email addresses are displayed. Is it possible that there is a conflict between the two?
