R3 installed successfully?
Hi everyone- I recently upgraded to feature pack R3. It was successfully installed, I believe, logs look good, it shows YES next to R3 Installed status in the console. The same is true of my seconary sites, but there is one thing that doesnt look correct-
the version. The version reads 4.00.6487.2000 not .2157; same is true on the clients. My question is this: should i be concerned or is this ok? All the R3 features are there ( power mgmt, delta discovery, etc) but i want to ensure i'm really set before calling
this one done.
Thanks for the help!

Hi,
If i look in my SCCM Consoles the R3=YES and the version is as you state aswll 4.00.6487.2000, for the client version on the other hand I have the client version 2157. Where are you checking the version locally on a client or in the SCCM Console? The version
in the console will not be updated until next heartbeat.
Have a look on a client in the file called: \\win7test4\c$\Windows\System32\CCM\compver.ini, there you can see the versions of all the different client components and verify that they are correct.
This is the entries I have in there:
[Component Versions]
CcmFramework=4.0.6487.2155
SmsInventory=4.0.6487.2000
SmsSoftwareMetering=4.0.6487.2000

CcmPolicyAgent=4.0.6487.2000
CcmStatusAgent=4.0.6487.2000
SmsCommon=4.0.6487.2000

SmsSourceUpdateAgent=4.0.6487.2000
SmsSoftwareUpdate=4.0.6487.2000

Hope it helps.

My compver.ini does indeed match the settings you listed above. Thank you for the feedback. I feel better about this now since i can see that it has shown up on the client-side.
