Rdl Filters
I've searched the web for information concerning Filters in SSRS 2005 and examples of the xml that gets generated from such filters. I'm still new to SSRS and don't understand what is going on between SSRS 2005 and SSRS 2008? Are the filters still in the
application? If so, where are they? Can anyone send me to a url that shows xml examples of Filters? I've found very little on the web for this, except the terse documentation on MSDN with no examples at all.

Hi LDean,
Filter is available in both SSRS2005 and SSRS2008, you could add some filters to the report dataset, you could also add some filters
to the report data region, but please make sure you could get the dataset from the XML datasource.
You could add a filter to a dataset, data region, or group when you want to include or exclude specific values for calculations
or display. To add a filter, you must specify one or more filter equations. A filter equation consists of an expression that identifies the data that you want to filter, an operator, and the value to compare to. The data types of the filtered data and the
value must match. Filtering on aggregate values for a dataset or data region is not supported. For more information about How to Ad a Filter, please refer to this link
