I've been trying to use Windows Remote Desktop to connect between the 5 PCs in my home office network. I have 1 desktop & 1 laptop running Windows 8.1, a desktop running Windows 7 Ultimate, & another desktop & 1 laptop running Windows 7 Home Premium. I have allowed Remote access & invitations on all of them, but always get an error message when trying to connect saying: Remote Desktop can't connect to the remote computer for 1 of the following reasons - access not enable, computer turned off, computer not available on network. All computers are on & connected to the network. I've tried every combination of PCs. Can someone tell me what I'm missing?

Have you checked that the Windows Firewall exception is enabled for Remote Desktop?
