Remote control dosent ask for user permission
Hi there guys, What is the key in the registry that is responsible on asking for user permission when i want to take control.? (the situation is when i see all the client workstation, pick a specific pc, and the right click and choosing remote control)...and then it just instantly connects to the pc without asking for the user if i may connect or not. P.s i'm talking about a few computers (6-7) all the rest are just fine. The operating system is Windows vista if it matters :) Hope to hear from you soon, Nahum Israel

It's not a registry key, it's the ConfigMgr policy. Here are two excellent reference links discussing this and how to implment one off changes: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/magazine/2006.09.customizesms.aspx http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc146756.aspx Jason | http://myitforum.com/cs2/blogs/jsandys | http://blogs.catapultsystems.com/jsandys/default.aspx | Twitter @JasonSandys

Yes. Most things applicable to SMS are also applicable to ConfigMgr.Jason | http://myitforum.com/cs2/blogs/jsandys | http://blogs.catapultsystems.com/jsandys/default.aspx | Twitter @JasonSandys
