Remove Computer Association
Would someone be able to explain if this is true? I'm trying to test USMT 3.0.1 to refresh XP. Presently, I'm using a test laptop which I previously used USMT 4 to capture a user state and restore to a different device. When I select "Comptuer Association" I still see the Side-by-side migration associated with the test laptop. Is it possible that when I try to do a PC Refresh and capture the XP settings/restore to XP with USMT 3.0.1 it would not work because of the association I have in there? Do I need to somehow remove the side-by-side computer associations? Thanks, Sean

just delete the computer record and you'll be informed that it has a computer association also, answer yes to delete it, then test again My step by step SCCM Guides I'm on Twitter > ncbrady

Ugh... such a simple solution. Thank you so much - sometimes you can't see the forest because of the trees. By the way, thanks for all you do Niall. Your guides have been invaluable to my development of USMT and SCCM. Sean
