Remove Workstation from SCCM Console
hi all,

My problem is i have the 100000 workstation in my environment, dialy i am getting the request like remove the workstations from the sccm Console. is there any script or any tool to remove the workstations
from SCCM Console.. that will help a lot for the automization

like i am getting the tickets from the windows team, they asking my SCCM team to Remove the workstations and servers from the SCCM Console.

But why??? Why do they want them removed? What the reasoning?
They are just going to automatically come back if they are live machines. MAybe the persons making these requests do not understand that?

now i got the information from the windows team,
they said like they are decommissioned from AD and SCCM. the machines are in offline.
now tell me is there any tool for removing those machines from the SCCM Console.Thanks & Regards, sree.............

They will automatically be removed if you've enabled the default maintenance tasks. Alternatively you can stick them in a collection and do a delete special on that collection. I use collection injection (free from SCCM Expert) to inject lists of machines
into a collection. But the best thing to do is just let them age out.
